V-FormTM Soil Looseners

V Form Soil Looseners have proven in practice to be highly successful in their design and manufacture. The configuration of the tines make this machine more efficient than the standard single beam equivalent because the leading tine disturbs the soil for the following tines. The offsetting of the tines allows them to run much closer achieving a complete movement of the soil across the working width of the frame, thereby intensifying the cultivation. The rear attachment is an important feature of this machine, dispersing the suction from the tines into useful energy for crushing, levelling and depth control, resulting in no large clods, good moisture control and level surface finish. The number of tines and tine spacing may be varied to suit working depth, soil conditions and horsepower.
Option: All Cousins V Form Soil Looseners can be fitted with either ‘Original Level Lift Legs’, ‘Quickfoot Legs’ or new Micro Wing tines or double leg tines. All Cousins legs are ‘diamond grade’ for extended life.
All v-form models are also available with micro wing or double leg tines cutting discs and leg zone press option for rape seeding.
